With Every Visit Counts (EVC) being run as frequently as it has, the key that we ‘keep it alive’ in order to keep the promotion attractive amongst the transactional customers and increase participation, admissions and spend. It was also key that we integrate the promotion off and online to make it a multi-channel promotion.
Due to EVC running four times a year we decided to make it seasonal, this time it was for Spring. I thought about using bees as they like to visit many flowers at first but that was vetoed due to some people being allergic to bee stings, so the next best idea I had was to use a butterfly.
Originally I wanted to use a much more beautiful species and use a double exposure technique on the wings to show cards and chips but the Stakeholders thought it was too feminine for our Clubs so I came up with this alternative solution and changed to markings to Hearts and Club symbols which was a bit less feminine.
