Sporting Events
The brief for both events was to create web banners for each match with the teams. Due to copyright issues we couldn’t use any players so using balls as a canvas for each country’s flag worked well and really simplified the problem.
I wanted to give the image some gladiatorial gravitas, I originally thought about a using a 3D ‘V’ that was made of metal or stone but it didn’t do it enough for me, so then I thought of turning the ‘V’ into fire which I think worked much better.
